Who we are

HaulBoss TMS is dispatch software used by trucking companies. Each company that uses HaulBoss controls its own data; HaulBoss processes it on their behalf.

Information we collect

Names, mobile phone numbers, email addresses, CDL and medical card details, equipment details, load and delivery records, messages exchanged with dispatch, and the record of SMS consent (date, time, and who recorded it).

How we use it

To dispatch loads, communicate load status and ETAs, keep DOT and insurance records, pay settlements, and invoice customers. Mobile numbers are used only to send operational dispatch texts.

Text messaging and mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Phone numbers are shared only with the messaging providers that deliver the texts (for example Twilio), solely to deliver those messages.

Sharing

We don't sell personal information. We share information only as needed to run loads, with service providers who process data for us under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.

Retention and security

Records are kept as long as needed for operations and legal requirements and protected with access controls and encrypted connections.

HaulBoss iPhone app

The HaulBoss app for iPhone (bundle id com.haulbosstms.app) is a signed-in view of this same service at haulbosstms.com. It is published by HaulBoss TMS.

Camera and photos

If you choose to photograph or attach a rate confirmation, bill of lading, proof of delivery, or fuel receipt, the app asks for camera or photo library access. Those images are uploaded to your company's HaulBoss account as load or fuel documents. The app does not access the camera or photo library in the background, and it does not use photos for advertising or to track you across other apps.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, HaulBoss may send operational alerts such as load updates. You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings. The app does not use notifications for third-party advertising. Notification delivery is not turned on until the Apple Developer account is in place.

Login session

The app keeps your login on the device so you stay signed in between launches. Sessions last 14 days, or until you log out or change your password.

Face ID and Touch ID

If you turn on app unlock, HaulBoss asks iOS for Face ID or Touch ID, or your device passcode, when you return to the app. HaulBoss does not receive, store, or share your biometric data. iOS keeps that data on the device. The app does not store your password to do this.

Tracking

The iPhone app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. It does not include advertising SDKs. HaulBoss does not sell personal information.
